Olathe, KS. - August 27 2019 – ChiliPAC, the organic reader advisory platform provided by ChiliFresh Enterprises, Inc. is now available for Polaris, Encore and Enterprise online catalogs. With this, ChiliPAC becomes one of the most commonly used platforms for libraries in North America, Australia and Europe.
ChiliPAC provides Library Staff and customers with the ability to create, curate and share their reading history and interest thus connecting people from around the world based on their individual reading interests and habits. In addition, it includes Reviews and Ratings by patrons, staff and professional publications, and comprehensive Book Jacket Cover Art for library's catalog and web presence available.
Scott Johnson, President and CEO of ChiliFresh says:
"Currently there are more than 23 thousand shared booklists organically created by library staff and users making the library's online catalog a useful and engaging place where people want to return. A ChiliPAC enhanced catalog is not a traditional catalog with static "enhanced content" added. It's dynamic, it's engaging and it takes the library's online presence to a new level. Originally it was developed in conjunction with Brooklyn Public Library (NY) for their Encore catalog and we are happy to announce that now it is available also for libraries that use Polaris and Enterprise."
ChiliPAC is built in line with all governmental privacy regulations. It's easy to integrate and link with library's systems yet does not require data migration, integration or other technical effort by the library. The ChiliFresh Platform is available for libraries that use SirsiDynix (Enterprise) and Innovative (Polaris & Encore).
About ChiliFresh Enterprises, Inc.:
ChiliFresh Enterprises, Inc. (ChiliFresh.com) has been enhancing Library Catalogs around theorld for more than 10 years. In 2008, ChiliFresh entered the library world with the Patron Review Engine. This was the first of its kind platform that empowered library patrons with the ability to read, write and star rate items in any library's collection and have their review and rating appear in library catalogs all over the world. In 2012, ChiliFresh introduced Connections, a truly interactive platform connecting local readers with the global community at large, all based on literary interest and habits. And most recently in 2018, ChiliFresh formulated and launched the version 2 of Connections, rebranded as ChiliPAC. This exciting new platform works with a library's existing catalog but integrates bookshelves and book lists directly into the search results further connecting people on a global scale. https://home.chilifresh.com/en
