This is a fine graphic novel from Shannon Hale, author of Goose Girl, Austenland, and other great books. It takes the classic story of Rapunzel and puts her in the Wild West, where she has to work together with Jack (from the Beanstalk) to unseat the witch who imprisoned her. It's a fun story, with great artwork from Nathan Hale. Whether you like Shannon Hale's other books, graphic novels, or fairy tales, there's a lot to love here.

This is a graphic novel. It is a fun adventure with Rapunzel in Western Style. It's fun how Rapunzel uses her braids like a rope and lasso just like the Wild West.
Rapunzel is living with Mother Gothel. At first Rapunzel doesn't know that Mother Gothel isn't her real mother. She decides to take a view over the gigantic wall and notices that life is much different than her little world.

Whoa!!!!! This book is SOOO cool. It's like mixed up charcters from different fairy tales. You have GOT to check it out! It's a graphic novel, so you can see what's up, even better than chapters! I loved it sooo much, I got it for Christmass! To make a long review short, It's super cooooooooooooooooool!

I had high hopes for this graphic novel based on the quality of Shannon Hale's other works. I was terribly disappointed and chose not to waste my daughters' time with reading it. Why spend time on poorly written, predictable plots when there are so many good books out there? Try some of her other books instead.

This Rapunzel is no retiring fairy tale girl -- she's busy rescuing herself and others with Wild West moves and some mighty-fine braidwhipping. Along the way she makes many new friends who might seem a bit familiar to anyone who has read a few fairy tales. Her adventures are presented in a graphic novel with great illustrations. Very fun!
