 Enjoyed it!June 25, 2009

This book was just a little cheesy, but I enjoyed it. It really is a Mormon "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants," except for the fact that it focuses on one main girl. It has great lessons to teach and a fun, entertaining story to unravel. It's just a feel good book!

I did enjoy this book, it really made me feel good. It's really a Mormon "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants," though it mainly focuses on one character. It had great lessons to teach and a good, entertaining storyline to unravel.

 Mormon Chick LitJune 20, 2009
By: cmbohnProvo, Utah (US)
It was a fun, sort of chick lit story about some high school friends who stay friends. The main character, Lauryn, is a fashion designer who wants to design modest evening wear. It looks like there are going to be more in this series featuring some of the other friends, and I will probably read those too. But it's not like I was really wondering how the story would end. Very much a happy ever after ending, but that's fun sometimes.

 Wow!June 17, 2009

Michele Ashman Bell put together a great book with this one. It is kind of a cross between Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, and Devil Wears Prada. I really enjoyed the relationships the characters shared. The main character, Lauryn, shows that doing the right thing and standing up for what you believe is the very best thing and only leads to lasting joy. I think there will be a sequel, as it leaves a mystery or two unsolved. I highly recommend this book. It's longer than the average LDS fiction, but it is worth reading every page.
