I adored this novel. Each character was completely believable and I laughed with squirming amusement at the various women's thoughts about their respective mothers as I had identical ones myself!
Unlike previous reviewers, I thought the ending was appropriate. It was subtle and several days later I am still thinking about this novel.
Warmly recommended.

This is the perfect lobsterpot boiler of a beach read- gorgeous setting, cranky matriarch, family turmoil, petty jealousies, lies, intrigue, a bit of romance and humor. A real page turner! I'd love a lobster roll now!!!!
